Why
Why:
Research and innovation for health has a direct impact on the positive development and health of communities and countries, and fosters and promotes equity at every level. While the importance of research for health, equity and development can be evident to those working in the sector, the effects are often difficult to grasp from an “outside” perspective. It is therefore important to translate the direct impact and change that research – in all sectors that affect health and development – has on people’s lives.
